Fiberglass tape
glass cloth tape and filament strapping tape
(1) glass cloth high-temperature tape · (2) fiberglass filament strapping tape · (3) fiberglass mesh drywall tape
Which fiberglass tape do you need?
Fiberglass tape: glass cloth, filament strapping, or mesh
Glass cloth tape uses a woven fiberglass carrier for heat-resistant wrapping and splicing—see glass cloth fiberglass tape. Filament strapping tape embeds fiberglass yarns in a film backing for heavy cartons, bundling, and unitizing—see filament strapping tape. Fiberglass mesh tape reinforces drywall joints—see mesh drywall tape.
For heat presses, sublimation, and pipe wrapping, see heat-resistant tape; for drywall joints, the full range is on drywall tape. Standard carton sealing stays on packing tape. We do not publish temperature or tensile ratings; specs are confirmed on request and on sample. Mixed orders go through tape wholesale.

Fiberglass Tape FAQ
What is fiberglass tape?
The term covers three products: glass cloth tape (woven fiberglass carrier for heat-resistant wrapping), fiberglass filament strapping tape (for heavy cartons and bundling), and fiberglass mesh tape for drywall joints. AeroTape quotes all three.
Fiberglass mesh tape vs paper drywall tape?
Mesh tape is self-adhesive and quick to apply; paper tape is bedded in compound and folds cleanly for inside corners. Both are on drywall tape.
Filament strapping tape vs packing tape?
Packing tape seals ordinary cartons. Filament strapping tape is reinforced with fiberglass yarns for heavy cartons, bundling, and unitizing loads.
What temperature can glass cloth tape handle?
It depends on cloth, adhesive, and dwell time, so we do not publish one rating. Share your process temperature on the RFQ; specs are confirmed on request. See also heat-resistant tape.
Do you publish certification badges or performance ratings for fiberglass tape?
No. If your market or customer needs test reports, list them on the RFQ and ask for a documentation pack—documents on request, no claim by default.
What is the MOQ for wholesale fiberglass tape?
MOQ is quoted by SKU and depends on construction, width, color, and packing. Fiberglass tape can share a PO with other specialty rolls—start from tape wholesale or the inquiry form.
