Jumbo tape converting

AeroTape converts jumbo BOPP into finished packing tape for wholesale and custom print programs. Buyers lock width, mic, yards, and core on the RFQ — not a mixed trading lot.

Typical scope: carton-grade film at 50–55 mic, 36 / 48 / 60 / 72 mm slit widths, 100–500 yard finished rolls, paper cores, optional 1–3 color print, and PE stretch film on the same PO. Browse packing tape and specialty + PE.

Carton seal defaults to BOPP film with hot-melt adhesive for corrugated. Acrylic is quoted when UV resistance or a different open time is required. Color, tan, and clear rolls share the mic ladder unless the brief changes grade.

Jumbo mother rolls for converters who slit in-house are quoted by film grade and log width on the specialty catalog. Material or adhesive changes go through the quote — not silent substitutions.

1. Brief & RFQ — width, mic, yards, core, adhesive, print, volume, ship-to.
2. Sample — catalog or printed sample roll to freeze the traveler.
3. PO & film — jumbo grade released to the converting schedule.
4. Slit & rewind — finished width and yardage; core wall as quoted.
5. Print (if any) — 1–3 color on OPP after plate approval.
6. Pack & ship — carton pack-out, labels, export docs, freight.

Catalog samples often ship in 3–7 days; stock bulk 7–15 days; custom print 15–30 days after sample sign-off — capacity and freight quoted separately.

Checks cover film grade against the PO, slit width, finished length, core, unwind, and print registration when printed. Carton count and labeling match the packing list before release.
